The Fall Clean Up will be
September 14th - 18th
Vouchers are available for pick up at the townhall during regular business hours. Residents can get one voucher per parcel.
Township voucher pays for the initial 500 pounds.
After initial 500 pounds, the cost is $0.08 per pound.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED AT GFL TRANSFER STATION:
Tires, Yard Waste, Liquid Paint & chemicals, Hazardous Materials, Fluorescent light bulbs, Air conditioners or other items containing freon, or Household trash. Refrigerators and Freezers are accepted for a fee of $15.00 each. Other metal items are accepted as scrap at no charge (stoves, washers, dryers).
ADDITIONAL HELPFUL INFORMATION
Northern Transitions is an option for disposing of hazardous materials and oil based paint. They charge $1.10 per pound.
Appointments need to be made for time of drop off on September 19th.

CPR Certification Lessons Available
We have an exciting opportunity for our community members. There will be a licensed instructor available the last Saturday of each month, from 4pm-7pm. The class will be held at Lake Superior State University. The cost is only $6.00 per person. Participants will receive their certification at the end of the class. The class is limited to 9 participants. Please sign up by calling the Superior Township Hall during regular office hours.
