Michigan Rural Water will be at the Superior Townhall for a Special Meeting to present their findings for the rate study conducted on our Water & Sewer System.
The meeting will be Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 6:00pm.

The Spring Clean Up will be June 8th - 12th
Vouchers will be available for pick up at the townhall during regular business hours beginning on May 20th.

Township voucher pays for the initial 500 pounds.
After initial 500 pounds, the cost is $0.08 per pound.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED AT GFL TRANSFER STATION:
Tires, Yard Waste, Liquid Paint & chemicals, Hazardous Materials, Fluorescent light bulbs, Air conditioners or other items containing freon, or Household trash. Refrigerators and Freezers are accepted for a fee of $15.00 each. Other metal items are accepted as scrap at no charge (stoves, washers, dryers).

We are pleased to announce that we have a new way to pay online beginning November 10th. We are confident that it will be a tremendous upgrade to our residents!
This new system will allow residents to pay their summer taxes past the September due date by automatically including the current interest and penalties.
Residents will also be able to make a one time payment, set up automatic payments, save their payment options, and view their payment history.
Create an account by clicking the link below and searching your address or by clicking "Currently not signed in" in the upper right hand corner. A drop down will appear with three options, "Sign In, Register and Why Register".
Or by clicking "PAY" under Pay A Bill to search for either a tax or utility bill.

We have an exciting opportunity for our community members. There will be a licensed instructor available the last Saturday of each month, from 4pm-7pm. The class will be held at Lake Superior State University. The cost is only $6.00 per person. Participants will receive their certification at the end of the class. The class is limited to 9 participants. Please sign up by calling the Superior Township Hall during regular office hours.
