Attention Superior Township Residents
Although Superior Township does not manage the recycle trailer on Depot Street, we are very
happy that our community has local access to a recycle program. The recycle trailer is at a convenient location on Superior Township property and offers an option to those who desire to help the environment through recycling. Superior Township has posted "No Dumping" signs at the Depot Street location to discourage residents from disposing their household refuge inside/outside of the trailer. Unfortunately, the signs alone are not 100% effective. Therefore, security cameras are now in place near the area to monitor traffic in and around the recycling trailer. The camera has already proven to be effective in determining who the individual is that has been illegally dumping their household trash on Superior Township property throughout the summer. The individual was provided legal options for proper trash disposal. These options include contacting GFL for services 906 635 3380 or contacting the Bay Mills Transfer Station at 906 248 8154. Light green bags may be purchased at Bay Mart or Four Seasons. These bags are required by the Bay Mills Transfer Station on Plantation Rd.
